VISION OF DISORDER's DRAG: More Details Revealed
June 28, 2002More information has surfaced about the recently-recorded debut demo from DRAG, the new band featuring VISION OF DISORDER guitarist Matt Baumbach and vocalist Tim Williams. The tape, which was recorded and mixed by current SEBASTIAN BACH/former ANTHRAX guitarist Paul Crook and ex-NUCLEAR ASSAULT bassist Scott Metaxas at Wayne Manor studios in Neshanic, New Jersey, actually contains four tracks and includes a guest appearance on the drums by GOTHAM skinsman Craig Scoppa.
"The songs are well written and the production slams," Scoppa's GOTHAM bandmate Crook said. "Matt and Tim needed a drummer so I recommended Craig. He blew out all four songs in less than an hour."
The four cuts included on the demo are as follows:
01. Round and Round
02. Evolution
03. All The While
04. Freedom Man
As previously reported, DRAG's current line-up is rounded out by Brian (bass) and Marc (drums),who apparently joined the group following the completion of the aforementioned demo. 10 songs have already been written towards the group's debut album, which is unlikely to surface before 2003.
